Archery Programs

Intro Classes

The Archery Program is taught by USA Archery Certified Instructors and is designed to educate local youth, teens, and adults about archery, with an emphasis on safety. Students will learn how to use recurve and compound bows, as well as archery safety, range set-up, and more.

Classes will be held at the Iredell County Recreation Center. The cost is $15 per participant and advanced registration is required.

Explore Archery

Explore Archery is an innovative education program focused on introducing beginners of all ages and abilities to the lifelong sport of archery. Children ages 8 to 17 years old can take this 90 minute class and briefly learn about archery safety, the parts of the bow and arrow, and how to shoot. This class will be held at Iredell County Recreation Center (122 Grannis Lane, Statesville).

Registration fees are $85 per child and advance registration is required. This fee is for a 6 week Explore Archery program.

Classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment, weather, or other circumstances. Refunds will be provided if a class is cancelled by ICPRD.
