Offense(s)/Charge(s): Felony Possession of Heroin

 Felony Maintaining a Vehicle for a Controlled Substance

 Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

 Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana Drug Paraphernalia

 

Location of Incident: 104 Knox Farm Road, Statesville      

Suspect(s): Toni Nicole Sutton, 29 Years Old

        3330 North East Holly Creek Drive

       Jensen Beach, Florida 34957

 

Sherriff Darren Campbell stated: On Friday, January 13, 2023, Deputy C. Wilson with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) Team initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle due to a traffic violation. While speaking with the driver, Deputy C. Moncus and Canine Bosco walked around the vehicle, and a positive indication was made by Canine Bosco to the odor of narcotics inside the vehicle. Deputies then searched the vehicle and located heroin and drug paraphernalia.  Sutton was arrested and taken to the Iredell County Detention Center and brought before Magistrate Thompson, where she was issued a 7,500.00 dollars secured bond on the following charges: Felony Possession of Heroin, Felony Maintaining a Vehicle for a Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana Drug Paraphernalia.
